
PADUCAH — The McCracken County Sheriff's Office arrested two men Monday afternoon following a drug investigation.
According to a news release from McCracken County Sheriff's Office, drug detectives stopped Robert Miller, 34, of McCracken County, around 2 p.m. Monday on Homewood Avenue in the Farley area of McCracken County. Miller was driving a 2019 Ford F150. The detectives reportedly knew that Miller did not have a driver’s license. A Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted to the odor of illegal drugs. Detectives found a safe concealed under the truck that contained more than 700 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Miller was arrested and on felony parole at the time of his arrest for robbery. Miller was charged with no operator's license and trafficking in methamphetamine.

Detective executed a search warrant on a home at 1200 Old Said Road and seized small amounts of methamphetamine, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales. James “Eric” Davenport, 48, was arrested in connection with the drugs found at the home. Davenport was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia .

Both men were taken to McCracken County Regional Jail. Marshall County Sheriff's Office and the Paducah Police Department assisted MCSO.
