The Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a plane crash on Highway 69 north on Sunday night.

According to a Facebook post by the Henry County Sheriff's Office, deputies at the scene saw a small aircraft flipped upside down. The plane was reportedly in the grassy area between the highway and the end of the Henry County Airport runway. 

The pilot and the passenger were reportedly able to get out of the plane, and both were uninjured. 

The pilot told deputies that the plane lost power and attempted to land, but the plane struck the fence around the airport causing it to flip. 

The Federal Aviation Administration was contacted and will investigate the incident.
